KRA Final Mile Event at Elitch Garden's Saturday October 9, 2010
Accumulate 25 miles prior to October 9th, then earn the unforgettable reward of coming together to complete the final mile in and around the grounds of Elitch Gardens. $39 entry includes: Training shirt, training incentives, entry into final mile event, admission to Elitch's after the KRA Final Mile Event, finisher's medal, finisher's shirt, race day goodie bag, and certificate of completion.
Important Pre-Race Details:
-Registration closes September 10, 2010
-Runner training shirt pick up and Mentor team pick up September 11, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. See list below for your pick up location.
-Race day packet pick up October 6, 2010 from noon to 5:00 p.m. at same Chipotle locations as training -incentive pick up (tbd)
-Runner entry includes admission into Elitch Garden's after the KRA Final Mile Event
-Pre-race festivities start at 9:00 a.m., with the first wave of runners going at 10:00 a.m.
-For the safety of the runners the waves will be staged by age, with the first wave being 12 years and up.
-The start and finish will be outside the park and open to the public
-The one mile course will be run in and around the grounds of Elitch Garden's
-Parents who wish to run with their child must purchase a Friends and Family ticket
-Season passes may be used for this event
-The park will be closed for this event and the course will be supervised and well marked.
-Elitch's will open for admissions at noon
-Please arrange to carpool or take the RTD Light Rail as there is a discounted $10 parking fee to park at Elitch Garden's
-Mentors who wish to run with their team please check with your Lead Mentor before purchasing a ticket
